Michaël Hoppenbrouwers has a rich family history in the brewing industry. His ancesters were among the first in Belgium and the Netherlands who brewed beers with Hops – which is the origin of his family name. His rich family history sparlked his interest and passion for the beer industry. Michael worked for over 10 years in the brewing industry – covering a broad range of positions amongst general manager for Bosteels Brewery in Buggenhout. Currently Michael is working for Boortmalt – world’s leading malting company – as managing director for Continental Europe.
