Researcher, reporter, lecturer, collector, beer lawyer … a beer lover active in many fields over the years.
At present working in business tourism communications in Brussels, he has dealt at European level with legal, industry and taxation matters for brewers for over a decade. He served as a board member of the European Beer Consumers Union (EBCU) and is a member of diverse associations in the beer, tourism, law and economics fields.
Besides a master’s degree in law (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) Jan has completed postgraduate degrees in cultural studies, business and international associations management as well as in tourism management. He is currently finishing a PhD in European Studies on smart tourism at UNED university in Spain.
