Filip Nerad is head of foreign news department and EU affairs analyst at the Czech Radio. In the past, he was correspondent in Germany as well as in Brussels and in Benelux, where he also devoted himself to beer cultures of these countries. He is considered one of the most respected beer connoisseurs among Czech journalists. Among other things, he is author of the book Pivní království Belgie, the first Czech title about Belgian beers and Belgian beer culture, which was also translated into English under the name The Bier Kingdom of Belgium. He has hosted many beer tasting events and debates for Czech and foreign audience too.
