David Jesudason is a freelance journalist who covers race issues for publications, such as Good Beer Hunting, Pellicle and BBC Culture. He helped set up a Diversity in Beer Writing Grant in 2022 with Good Beer Hunting and the British Guild of Beer Writers, where he is a director. In 2022, he was awarded Writer of the Year by Be Inclusive Hospitality and in the same year brewed a Decolonised India Pale Ale, called Empire State of Mind with Villages Brewery. His debut book Desi Pubs, published by CAMRA Books, will be published in the summer.
