Amandine Gierens
Brasserie du Pays Flamand

After a first career as archivist, Amandine changed her professional life by taking the Certification of brewing training in Ecole de Brasserie de Chaumont-en-Vexin (France, Oise) during which she performed several traineeships in small breweries. In January 2021, she joined Brasserie du Pays Flamand where she works as brewer, managing the cellar, connecting with other breweries for collaborative brews, including with the Pink Boots.

Created in 2006 by Olivier Duthoit and Mathieu Lesenne bored by their everyday job at that time, Brasserie du Pays Flamand now generates a 10 M€ of turnover (2022) and employs 43 people working in the different branches of BPF (Beer Production, Komboucha production, Sales, Barrel aged program, TapRoom, Beer-shop and Restaurant). Production has been on the rise for the last 3 years (2020 : 21000hL, 2021 : 31000hL, 2022 : 40000hL). Its biggest site is located at Merville (North of France). Its beers are sold in Bottles (60%) and Kegs (40%) and half of its volume is Anosteke Blonde, one of its award-winning beer.
