Igor Oyarbide is an R&D Product development technician at Mahou San Miguel (Spain) with more than 10 years of experience in the brewing industry.
He completed his studies in Agricultural Engineering (Agricultural and Food Industries specialization) at Universidad Pública de Navarra (Iruña-Pamplona). Afterwards, he enrolled for a Brewing and Malting Master’s Degree at Universidad de Alcalá de Henares (Madrid).
He has international brewing experience (Germany and United Kingdom) and in Mahou-San Miguel he participated in the development of different beers for Mahou, Alhambra, San Miguel, La Salve and Nómada brands.
Apart from barrel aging, he is interested in low alcohol beers, alternative microorganisms, and in every topic related with human´s microbiota and health.
