Collin, Sonia

In 1988, Sonia COLLIN received a PhD degree in chemical sciences. She started her career as Chercheur Qualifié at the FNRS. Professeur ordinaire at the Université catholique de Louvain (Belgium), she is responsible of the Master in Brewing Sciences. Teacher for Bioengineers (food chemistry, hop chemistry, advanced analyses of organic compounds, beer sensorial analysis ..), she supervised 20 PhD theses. She has published more than 200 publications in peer-reviews, mainly on flavor stability, sulfur aroma, pyrazines, hops, and polyphenols ( Every four years, she organizes the De Clerck Chair
