Monica Mandrutiu is Group Head of Quality at Asahi Europe & International (AEI).
She drives the “Excellence in quality” culture, designs and leads the deployment of Asahi Group Quality Strategy, defines the Quality strategic priorities, objectives and targets within AEI end-to-end Supply chain and provides leadership and technical support for their implementation. She leads the continuous improvement in quality across 19 production sites in 8 European countries and the AEI export markets. She contributes to the Asahi Regional and Global Collaboration Process in the fields of Quality and Innovation.
Monica has over 25 years of experience in brewing industry in various roles in Quality, Brewing and Innovation, on local and regional level, within SABMiller Europe until 2017 and then as part of the technical hub of Asahi Breweries Europe Group and AEI.
She has an MSc in Food technology and an MBA degree (Edinburgh Business School).
Monica is member of EBC Executive Team, EBC Brewing Science Group, ASBC and MBAA.
She is accredited Beer sommelier and member of the tasting panels of many key international beer competitions.
