Žatec – Hop Museum

Visit Žatec’s iconic Hop Museum, in the city centre of Žatec, hosted in a former hop barnyard and kiln. The museum, one of the most complete – if not the most complete – hop museums of the world, contains a lot of collectibles explaining how hops has been grown, cultivated, harvested and traded over the last 200 years. The collection of materials show the evolution of agricultural practices, including to adjust to the changes in climate, adaptation to history and to the evolving brewing business. An unforgettable experience! A lunch will then be taken at the Pioneer microbrewery, in front of the Hop Museum.
