Dyfed Morgan works at M-Sparc a science park operated by Bangor University in North Wales. His work is focused on life cycle assessment and sustainability. He has recently finished his PhD in Geography at Bangor University focusing on the sustainability of small scale beer production. As part of his study, he explored the socioeconomic impact of small scale beer production and how this contributes to the local economy and community. The second part of his work involved the development of a life cycle assessment tool to measure the environmental footprint of small breweries and identify opportunities to mitigate brewery environmental footprint. He has a background in electrical and instrumentation engineering and has worked on several automation projects for medium and large scale breweries in the UK and overseas.
